Here's to the first ten years —
and to the next hundred.
Ten summers ago, in 2017, we met — and neither of us imagined where it would lead.
Now, on our tenth anniversary of finding each other, we want nothing more than to
celebrate it with the people we love: dinner, wine and dancing under the Cretan sky
at Domaine Lyrarakis.

A family winery among the vineyards of Alagni, in the hills of the Peza wine region
— about 30 minutes from Heraklion Airport (HER). Wine tours, tastings and events in
the estate cellar; free parking on site.
ACCOMMODATION
Stay the night,
or the whole weekend.
The celebration runs late, and we'd love you to stay close. A few places we recommend —
from village charm to city comfort.
Some rooms are held for our guests until April 2027 — just mention the wedding.
CLOSEST TO THE ESTATE
Archanes & Alagni
Village guesthouses 10–15 minutes away — small and family-run. Book early for August.
EASIEST FOR FLIGHTS
Heraklion city
The full range of hotels, about 30 minutes out — handy if you're flying in and out.
TRANSPORTATION
Getting there
is easier than it looks.
Fly into Heraklion Airport (HER) — the estate is about half an hour away, across the
hills of the Peza wine region.
Wedding shuttle
A shuttle will run between Heraklion and the estate before and after the ceremony
— times to follow with your invitation.
Taxis
Easy to find across Heraklion and Archanes; roughly €25–35 from the city to
Alagni.
DRIVING
Take it slow
— the drive is part of the day.
Cretan roads are scenic rather than fast, and the last stretch winds through
Alagni's olive groves.

Rental cars
Available at both Heraklion and Chania airports — book early for August.
The route
Follow the signs to Archanes, then Alagni. The last stretch is a narrow country
lane — take it easy.
Parking
Free parking at the winery, a short walk from the cellar door.
